Colorful. Nutritious. Quintessentially Korean.
At Imonè, we take pride in serving dishes that feel like home — comforting yet exciting, simple yet full of depth. One of the most iconic Korean dishes we’re proud to serve is Bibimbap (비빔밥), and it’s a true celebration of balance, flavor, and tradition — all in one bowl.
What is Bibimbap?
The word Bibimbap literally means “mixed rice” — but it’s so much more than that. It’s a beautiful, vibrant bowl of steamed white rice topped with a rainbow of seasoned vegetables, a fried egg, gochujang (Korean chili paste), and your choice of marinated beef, tofu, or other protein. The magic happens when you mix everything together — the textures, the flavors, the heat from the gochujang — every bite is an explosion of deliciousness.
A Symbol of Balance
Bibimbap isn’t just about taste — it’s deeply rooted in Korean culture. Each ingredient represents a part of nature or a color in Korean philosophy (called obangsaek), creating a harmonious and nutritious meal. It’s known for being healthy, balanced, and satisfying — making it popular not just in Korea but around the world.
The Imonè Bibimbap
At Imonè, we prepare Bibimbap the traditional way — but always with our own loving touch:
Fresh, locally-sourced vegetables like zucchini, carrots, spinach, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms
Perfectly steamed Korean rice
Your choice of bulgogi beef, tofu, or vegan-friendly toppings
A crispy fried egg on top
Served with our house-made gochujang sauce
Accompanied by seasonal banchan (Korean side dishes)
And if you want to elevate the experience, try our Dolsot Bibimbap, served in a sizzling hot stone bowl that crisps the rice at the bottom — a crunchy, golden treat!
